It's been awhile.

New strips to follow shortly. No promise on timeframe, but I hope to be getting under way early this month, and plan to be in full production swing come May, with any luck. I've muttered about such things before - unlike previous occasions, the script is in good shape (and laid out for a few pages!), the list of CG hurdles is Known, and TD2E no longer has first call on my resources.

It's down to a matter of willpower. The next couple of strips, anyway - I can do 3/4 of the next page with no new CG.

As I told Xeno last week: if I go full out (10-16 hours a day until CG assets are up to speed, then 4-8 following), I can get a great deal of DCR finished this year. Chapter two at the very least, chapter three and possible four and five if existing conditions hold.

It's not a long story, mind you - 20-24 pages a chapter for the four remaining chapters, with four pages of the current chapter already complete.

The first version of the next four strips is obsolete. Over the next day or so these strips will be scrapped and regenerated from scratch. Once the backgrounds are up to snuff, I'll get to the artwork. With any luck this will mean a new strip within a few days; a week at the most.
