The first JPEG strip. It's been .png until now, but in this case it was a choice between a 60k jpeg that looks fine or a 64-color 60k png with obvious banding. And banding is gross.

Also, yay for the mini-mart not having any diet soda with sucralose (aka splenda). Dunno about you cats but I much prefer the hint of a swimming pool aftertaste to splenda-laced beverages to the nursing-home astringent of aspartame.
